Team News
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says he is “fine” to play against the Spanish league and cup winners.
The 30-year-old England international hasn’t played since 5 May but insists he’s fit and raring to go.
“There’s no way I’d play if my fitness was detrimental to the team - there’s no problems. I am fine,” he told BBC Sport.
Barcelona have also had injury problems but Thierry Henry and Andres Iniesta did train on Monday and look to have overcome their injuries.
However, coach Pep Guardiola, is leaving it until after their final training session today to assess their fitness.
“We still have one training session,” said Guardiola.
“We will see what their condition is. If they are well, they will play.
“Of course I am confident because they are here and they are with us and for us.”
